Hello! It's so nice to see you! Please, come in. I'm sorry if the place is a mess; I wasn't expecting company. How have you been? I saw your ma at the grocery the other day and we had a good chat. Nice lady, she is. Well, I hope after that warm introduction we can move on to the rather long and boring list of my personal facts.
My name is Claire and I'm from Indiana. I am an amateur photographer and I am open to constructive criticism. I was honored to be in the 2013 Photography Show at the Clark Gallery in Wabash, IN. I am active on a lot of social media sites, so you can find those links floating somewhere around here. I shot all of my previous works with a Canon Powershot SX40, but as of January 2014 I am shooting with a Canon Rebel T5i. I rotate between the kit lens (of course), a 300mm, and a 50mm 1.8. I really like taking fun outdoor portraits. I also like to experiment with conceptual photography and I hope to share some of those series with you.
I also have a life outside of photography. I am a high school student with a love for reading and writing. To relax, I ride my bike around my neighborhood. My street name is Bike Girl, if that gives you any idea. Of course I listen to music, country and rock are preferred. I also love watching YouTube videos. Shay and Charles are my daily dose of inspiration. I love anything cat related. I like to keep up with fashion and all that jazz. In fact, I used to run a fashion blog called Just Another Fashion Geek. I started this blog to start anew and focus on my photography. Oh, and food. I love food. On this blog, you will see a lot of posts that aren't only about photography. I will try to feature recipes, DIYs, OOTDs, and other things like that.
